International Postgraduate Scholarship (IPS), which is competitive with limited quota, is offered to outstanding international students. Scholarship recipients will get full tuition waiver plus HK$100,000 living allowance (Approx. US$12,820). Eligible international applicants from countries/ regions outside the mainland China, Macau and Hong Kong will be automatically considered for the scholarship based on their all-round record and interview performance. The scholarship recipients will receive special/additional notice if the admission offer is provided with IPS.
All eligible applicants or students will be considered for the award or scholarships simultaneously. A separate application for the award or scholarship is not required.

Scholarships are awarded on a merit basis, taking into account students' academic achievements, professional qualifications, relevant working experience and achievements in other areas. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit a personal statement describing how they can contribute to Hong Kong’s development in the designated priority area upon graduation. | Service and Sustainability Scholarship | The Service and Sustainability Scholarship is offered to support and empower local students who are currently employed in an NGO or a social enterprise, and have at least one year of experience in such organisations to further their education and enhance their impact in the field. | HKBU Alumni Entrance Award | The HKBU Alumni Entrance Award aims to encourage our HKBU Bachelor's Degree alumni to pursue continuous learning.
